Rocky but accesible inland of the district of Kali,
as well as the whole island of Ugljan is criss-crossed
with many paths suitable for strolls and cycling
tours. Lovers of Mediterranean landscapes can enjoy
unforgettable sweeping views, out of which the most
impressive one is the one from the Venetian fort
St. Michael (18th century).

Sport fans and adventurers will surely be satisfied
with the mountain trails passing through the mountainous
terrain where good hiking boots
are needed (the terrain is stony, full of cracks
in limestones and awry). Interesting things on these
trails are: Karst phenomena, Željina rocks (rock
climbing climbs), visiting the Great cave, panoramic
views, vegetation of coastal macchia, rural agglomerations.
There are more tourist paths (less
demanding climbs) passing through
centuries-old olive-groves (where we
get our high-quality and aromatic oil) that have
sweeping views of Kornati
and other islands of the Zadar archipelago,
as well of the rural agglomerations…
Passing there it is quite possible to reach
sacral buildings hidden in the pine woods (St.
Pelegrin, St. Jerolim, Lady of Loret…)

Walking along the coast one can see the sights
of the coastal area of the north-eastern part
of the island, beaches, certain towns and their
historical and cultural sights, ports, pine woods…

If you want to know precise details on every path
and the descriptions of all interesting things,
you can find it in a Trekking
& Mountain biking map of Ugljan
and Pašman that is available in our tourist agency.
